You being fit and healthy is also the best way to enjoy time with your friends and family.
We help you live the high performance, pain-free life you deserve.
No two athletes are the same, which is why we take a personalized approach with every individual. During dedicated one-on-one sessions, we focus on truly understanding your goals, lifestyle, and mindset. Each sport places unique demands on the body, and those demands evolve over time. To help you keep up, we perform a thorough assessment that evaluates your joints, muscles, and nervous system to pinpoint the underlying factors affecting your performance or discomfort. From there, we create a clear plan that helps your body adapt, stay resilient, and perform at its peak.
We believe that lasting results start with understanding. Our goal is to give you clarity on what’s driving your symptoms, how our individualized approach addresses your needs, and what each stage of your recovery journey will look like. You’ll also learn the most effective self-care tools to keep you moving forward. And our guidance doesn’t end when your session does. Whenever questions come up, you’ll have 24/7 access to our team for ongoing support.
Not all clinicians are the same, and not all manual therapists offer the same level of expertise. Your health and performance deserve nothing less than the highest standard of care. Every athlete’s injury, mindset, lifestyle, and athletic goals are different, so why should you be on the same cookie-cutter program everyone else is. At The Charlotte Athlete, we design our treatment and performance plans based on your individual needs.
Physical Therapy goes much further than the 1x per week session. All our clients receive customized, injury-specific homework tailored to their goals, detailed education on the root cause and important lifestyle adjustments, and workouts/ cardio routines written up by their Sports Physical Therapist. You also have 24/7 contact your Physical Therapist directly via text anytime you need them.
We don’t just address your injuries, we take a proactive role in your overall health and wellness. Beyond the specific exercises for your recovery, our Sports Physical Therapists will review your weekly workouts, sleep patterns, stress management strategies, and more, creating a comprehensive plan designed to help you feel your best and perform at your highest level.
